An excerpt from a public radio interview with author Gregg Krech about attention , obstacles and the experience of gratitude.
Approximately 2 1/2 minutes.
I am grateful for the power of the lifeforce-the expression of God in all - entering my awareness more with each moment. Truly we are here to magnify God.

Posted by: janelle grace on November 28, 2009 3:43 PMIt is a beautiful day in the woods. The stream next to me is singing. The river moves silently, dreaming. The mists float gracefully, peacefully. I am filled with the joy, the gift of this day. I will carry these lovely gifts with me to share as I engage this day, as I encounter this day and weave myself into the tapestry of its mysteries.

It is a PhD program in the school of life - but no other life skills are as tried and true as gratitude. Thank you Go Gratitude!!!

what a wonderful way of waking up to the day! It arrives when I need it most. I am grateful to you for been there...in silence, but present.
Posted by: Lucy on October 9, 2008 11:09 AMYes, it is our attention to the things we love and want that brings us more of the same. He is describing the law of attraction without saying so and gratitude and gratefulness to the things "we take for granted" or to "what is" will also bring more of the same. It's about shifting focus.
Posted by: Riox on October 9, 2008 10:47 AMThank you for remembering me of all the GREAT things I have in my life and that even though I give thanks...................
Blessings, Maria
So true, we must pay attention to the things that ARE working for us each moment. It is important to acknowledge and be ever thankful for the persons whose very presence and personal contributions helps us in our daily lives as well, the janitor, the woman who held the door for you when you were carrying packages, the cashier, the pilot...
